Floral Print for Every Occasion

Floral print is big this season. It has appeared on the catwalks in many autumn/winter 2012 collections across the globe. The trend seems to be ‘dark blooms’. In this article, I will be showing you how you can work this trend into every aspect of your life.

Work

This beautiful ‘geisha’ blouse will be a wonderful addition to your working wardrobe. It is sweet, elegant and seasonal. It has a hint of the 60’s (another style that appeared on the cat walks) and is beautifully floral. This shirt will go perfectly with a pair of emerald tailored and flared trousers, and tan wedges. In the summer, this dress would look equally stunning with a pair of tailored emerald shorts. It can also be included in your holiday wardrobe, with the simple addition of a pair of denim shorts and wedges. Overall, this shirt is perfectly versatile and workable.

Autumn Evenings

This vintage style skirt fits in perfectly with the floral trend. It too has an oriental feel to it. This skirt is modest and sweet and would look great with a simple strappy black top – maybe a crochet cardigan. The outfit can be spiced up for an evening out with sparkly jewellery or refined for a day in the office with black Mary Jane heels and a black puff sleeve blouse. This skirt is perfect for the older lady, as it is modest without it being boring. It is certainly an eye-catching piece for any fashion conscious lady.

That Special Event

This dress suits any occasion – maybe you need to buy a dress for a wedding? Maybe there’s a party you have been invited to? Whatever the occasion this dress is beautiful, as it draws in the floral trend, but it is subtle and refined. It would look perfect on its own, or with some sparkly jewellery and patent heels. The dress is also perfect for the office – all you would need to do is pair it with a black cardigan or bolero.
